I have been looking for a connection of Keeling and Watson. In 1772 Edward Keeling sold three hundred acres of land to Davenport in Cumberland. In the deed it said this land was part of a patent of four hundred acres to Stephen Cox. Judith Cox the widow sold the four hundred ares to William Watson and William Watson sold one hundred acres of this to Stephens. What I can not find is how Edward Keeling got the three hundred acres which he lived on in Cumberland County before moving to Charolett County. Do you have any info on this that might clear it up for me? Keeling in Prince Edward County which might be Edward's brother.
