I am looking for any information on a D. C. Taylor. He was married to Bettie (Elizabeth). She is possibly my 3rd great grandmother. She was married to a Shepherd/Sheppard if this is the same person. In the 1880 census, in the D. C. Taylor household, Nannie Shepherd age 19 was listed as his stepdaughter. She also would have had another daughter named Cora who is my great great grandmother. She would be with them in the 1870 Prince Edward County census. Can anyone help?
