I am looking for any descendants of William Baldwin b. 27 Dec. 1750 in Prince Edward Co., Virginia.

Virginia Rev. War Pension papers state his birth date in P.E. Co., VA. He was a volunteer for 9 months in the Rev. War and served two other tours of three months each. The second tour, under Capt. Cunningham, was to Salisbury, NC where he narrowly escaped dying of the small pox. He was sent out of camp to one SAMUEL ALEXANDER'S, a clergyman of the neighborhood and a RELATION of his.

William Baldwin remained in Prince Edward Co., VA until 1786 when he migrated to Union Dist./Co., South Carolina. He appears on the 1800 census in Union, SC and remained there until 1817 when he migrated to Knox/Daviess Co., Indiana where he remained until his death.

There is some evidence he may have received bounty land in Burke Co., NC before moving to Union, SC.

Does anyone recognize this William Baldwin b. 1750, related to a Samuel Alexander of Salisbury, NC. Land records list his wife as Mary "Polly" Baldwin. A few researchers list his parents as William Baldwin b. 1721 who married Anne Wimbish. Other records list a William Baldwin who married 1st Mary ???, 2nd Elizabeth Baker as the son of William & Anne "Wimbish" Baldwin. This William Baldwin died in Prince Edward Co., Virginia. Any help with this family, would be appreciated.
