Rhonda, The house was located 15 North going towards Buckingham, yet it was in Prince Edward Co. It was 1/2 mile from Appomattox River and the old road was close to it ( Sandy Ford) Road. I remember it's structure that was almost down thirty years ago, it was a plantation house. I'm curious as what it looked like and which Legrand lived there. Its on the 1820 map, says Mrs. Legrand and right down from there is Mrs. Dillon's. Somehow these people were neighbors to my husbands granfather'ss. I'd like to piece together the homes here in Prince Edward and find out more of the way they lived. Thank You Frances
