I just returned from Prince Edward Thursday. I do have a bit of information of the Morton house. It was torn down awhile back. It was to the north of the Hampden-Sydney College lands. At he Museum of Hampden-Sydney College, there is a scale model of Capt. Mortons house - dimensions taken from the actual structure before it was demolished.
Which Legrand home are you looking for? I am involved in a VERY large research project involving the lands in and around Hampden-Sydney, so I may have someof the information you seek now, or will have, as I follow this project through. I know I have a survey map of some roads going through the Legrand property in 1838-9. Let me know.
