In the list of children of Griffith/Jones was a Jacob Griffith who was born May 26, 1792. Jacob was in the 1820 White Co. TN census as well as my ancestor William G. Bullard. William married Mary Sweeney who was born in Rutherford NC. I think Jacob Perry Griffith married Mary Sweeney's sister. He is on the 1860 Morgan County AL census with an assortment of people as a physician. I know who most of the people are. He died in the 1860s in Franklin TN but his widow and family made lots of records after he died in Morgan AL. My relative was in the next county, Limestone AL. All the family died out. Standifers were involved with this family and they too are in Pittsylvania, Henry County.

Bullard named his first son Elijah Griffith. I believe he was named after Jacob.
