Richards in Orange & Rockingham Counties - Help!

Am seeking info on an Isaac Richards, b. ca. 1774 in Orange County VA. He married an Elizabeth Robinson. Their son Weldon was born ca. 1805 in Orange County...not known for sure if their were other children...but did come across a post that listed a John Robinson Richards as a son...

Weldon married a Mary "Polly" Mason also of Orange Co. in 1830 and their first son, James, was born 1831. Other children were Elizabeth A. 1834, Richard 1836, Sarah 1838 & Charles L. 1840.

Mary must have died? because Weldon appears as the only parent on the 1850 census and because he later married again to a Barbara Simmons - they had one child Mary C. who died in infancy 1859 and possibly several other children as indicated on the 1870 census for Pendleton Co, WV.

Anyway, Weldon's oldest son James married Matilda Garrison and lived and died in Rockingham Co. They had 4 boys who lived and died there, with the exception of my gr-gr grandpa John Bear Richard, who lived with his kids and is buried in Allen County, Ohio.

James' other sons were Richard T. 1855-1926, William Lewis 1857-1918, and James M. 1860-?

I'm looking for any info on this family and anyone who has these folks as common ancestors. Would like to share info and find family!

Thanks,

Ben Richard
( the 's' was dropped at some point when my great grandfather was living - all his kids were known as 'Richard')
