Don, I found this that might interest you. I'll check to see if I have anything else that might help you:

Swift Run Creek is a branch of the James River near Parkerís Mountain. It, and Blue Run, are now located in Greene Co. VA. Blue Run, a stream of water in Orange Co VA runs from just across the Albemarle Co Va line to near Barboursville and then to Somerset VA then into the Rapidan River. Greene Co., VA was formed in 1837 from Orange.

Orange Co. VA Order Book 7, p. 384, June, 1766
The last will and testiment of Francis Williams, decíd was presented in court by Edward Williams and was proved by oaths of William Morris, John Stodghill and Samuel Burris and the said will be contested by Francis Williams and several witnesses. Executor: Edward Williams. Securities by John Goodall, John Ogg, John Shackleford.
