I was casually browsing on the Virginia site when I saw your post- I was doing some research for an Augusta County, VA lady, and I have been told at the Augusta County Courthouse, that their records extend to Orange County and Botetourt County. That these counties were a part of them then at the time period that you have listed. Because I was looking up information on the Shawnee Massacres and a few surnames, and they said the information could be spread between Orange, Botetourt, and Augusta Counties. You might want to try those- Just a suggestion! I wish I could do a look up for you, but we just moved from Augusta County to out of state! :) Keittaa
