NATHAN FLETCHER lived at Amelia County Virginia and is listed in the Nottoway County records. Born May 10, 1729 he died before April 5, 1810 when his will was probated at Amelia Co., in Deed Book 1 pg.322 We believe he was married to Sarah Robertson about 1750

In 1785 at Amelia County, Nathan Fletcher was the surety in the marriage of Crispin Shelton Jr to Susannah Irby.
In 1790 Nottoway County, Will Book 1 pag 27 on the 12th of August Nathan Fletcher Jr, and James Fletcher were two of the witness' to the will of TRALUSIA ROBERTSON the widow of Henry Robertson. This will mentions Tralusia's daughter DOLLY POLLARD as well as her sons Dan Robertson, David Robertson and one other surnamed, William STEGAR (her borther?). note: Dolly Robertson Pollard was married twice, once to Thomas Pollard, and once to Frederick LESTER and they lived Lunenburg County, Virginia in 1800.
Nathan Fletcher Jr in this case meant "the younger", for no heir named "Nathan" was left to Nathan Fletcher Sr. The Three children of Nathan Fletcher of Amelia/Nottoway were: Nancy Fletcher who married her cousin, Richard Fletcher at Amelia County; Elizabeth Fletcher born abt 1764 who was married twice (1st) James Nicholson who left a will dated 02 August 1784 with execuors Nathan Fletcher Sr and Jr and (2nd)Richard Jones; the third child was Captain James Fletcher born 1771 died June 27th in the 74th year of age with one surviving child named Martha Ann Fletcher who'd married John S. Hardaway.
