Shirley,

I had hoped you had a local library closer to home. When I ordered Microfilm from Virginia it took several weeks of going to the library in the evenings to go through the film. I know about things getting in the way of doing research.

Do contact the Northumberland Co. Historical Society. And maybe put a post on a Basye Bulletin board to see if someone has a copy or access to Otto Basye's book. But, do watch for "typos". There is one on the few pages I have that has caused some confusion.
