I wrote down the following at some point and neglected to write down the source for the last two...can anyone help me with this? Justinian Tennison was in Northumberland co., VA by Dec. of 1650, at which time John Mottrom patented 250 acres who had the rights on assignment from Justinian Tennis who transported 5 persons into the colony. [source, Beverly Fleet, "Virginia Colonial Abstracts", Baltimore, Genealogical Publishing co. Inc.] The five individuals who Justinian transported were Hopkin Davis, John Hill, Nicholas Butler, William Williams and Joane Kerle. Since Justinian was not one of the five this indicates he was in VA prior to this time. [source?] On April 10, 1666 Justinian Tennis was appointed a constable in Northumberland co. VA. [source?] Any help on this would be appreciated...thanks Susan Holman disdsh@aol.com Notify Administrator about this message?
