Might I ask you to check on Wor Co marriages for any Halls, specifically Purnell Hall about 1800-1810? Or the marriage of a Hall(probably William) to a Parker bride?
I put the message here because there is also a Brittingham. Here is what I have- thanks, Clair
Descendants of Purnell Smith PORTER

First Generation

       1.       Purnell Smith PORTER died after 1789.

Purnell married Zeporah BRITTINGHAM.

They had the following children:

+       2       F       i.       Nancy PORTER was born bet 1765-1784.

       3       F       ii.       Rebecca? PORTER.


Second Generation

       2.       Nancy PORTER (Purnell Smith) was born bet 1765-1784.

Nancy married Purnell PARKER. Purnell died in 1821 in Worcester Co, Md.

They had the following children:

+       4       F       i.       Miss PARKER died by 1834.

       5       M       ii.       William PARKER.

       6       M       iii.       Edward PARKER.

       7       M       iv.       James PARKER.

       8       F       v.       Louisa PARKER.

       9       F       vi.       Lorian PARKER.


Third Generation

       4.       Miss PARKER (Nancy PORTER, Purnell Smith) was born in Worcester Co, Md (Snow Hill). She died by 1834.

Miss married William HALL, son of Capt George HALL. William was born calculated 1790 in Worcester Co, Md. He died by 1834.

They had the following children:

       10       M       i.       Thomas HALL.

       11       M       ii.       William Purnell HALL was born in 1810 in Maryland. He died Oct-Nov 1864 in New Bern, NC and was buried in Cedar Grove Cemetery New Bern.
William married (1) Asaneth TURNER, daughter of John L TURNER, in Aug 1838 in Craven County, NC.
William also married (2) Rosaline T. CASWELL, daughter of William CASWELL and Harriett McIlwean EMERY, on 13 Jul 1839 in New Bern, NC.. Rosaline was born in 1818 in New Bern, NC. and was christened in 1853 in Christ Church, New Bern, NC. She died Oct-Nov 1864 in New Bern, NC and was buried Cedar Grove
