John Waller (c. 1616 - c. 1667), VA and MD

I'm looking for proof that John Waller, b. c. 1616 in England, was the same person as John Waller, the younger brother of the poet Edmund Waller. John first shows up in Northampton Co., VA records in 1654. He eventually went to Accomack Co., VA where he married Alice Major, dau. of John Major and either Jane or Magdalene Henry or Lorrimer. Their children were William, Alice, and Major.

If anyone can help, it'd be most appreciated. I'm trying to find royal ancestry for an Old World order and this seems to be the only one with any merit IMO so far.
