Bretts of Northampton
Posted by: Rachel Caldwell (ID *****3316) Date: July 15, 2004 at 14:23:04

I have found several Brett names in the Abstract deeds for many Brett men, Benjamin, Nathan, John, Joseph, Thomas and maybe a couple I have missed. It is my understanding this area may have been changed to NC in time. the dates on this are pre Revolutionary, 1752, 1759 Etc. Are these names
connected to what we now call Robeson Co, NC at a all.
I am trying to locate a Nathan Britt born about 1785 and his kinship to parents.
I would appreciate your comments,
Thanks,
Barbara
