A study of the mills in Norfolk County would be interesting. There were a number of them in the county.

I found the following regarding Sugg's Mill in the Portsmouth Library: "Built by Richard Jones in the 1670s and sold to Suggs. The old dam is still evident on the south side of the Bells Mill Road."
