like i said,i don,t have any complaints against the courthouse in charlottesville, they were real accomadating to me let me copy what ever i wanted.it,s the people of nelson county at the courthouse that i have a complaint against.it,s the principle of it we traveled all the way from missouri to virginia to do research and to be treated the way i was treated in nelson county does not reflect well on virginia tourism.we do not treat people that way that come here from other states to do research.we here in missouri are very accomadating.the courthouses let you look at deed books marriage records, etc even if you are from another state.
i,ve never had any problems in charlottesville at all! the people at the motel where we stayed were very friendly and helpful the same way at the courthouse the ladys at the historical society however could use some manners on how to be more polite.when i went to take the page family verticle file out of the cabinet the lady,i forget now what her name is bur she became very snooty with me.i don,t take that from anyone.
