I think there was a Hardin Perkins, Jr. Hardin Perkins signed the will of my 3x great grandmother, Nancy Ann Goolsby (she married Matthew Phillips) in Nelson County in 1834. In my Hughes line, my 7x great grandfather Thomas Hughes married first a Sarah Perkins, and then he married Mary Giles Harding or Hardin. I have some information on the Perkins and Harding (Hardin) famiies in my family tree file on rootsweb. If you are interested, email me at and I'll send you the link.
