Thanks so much for answering-Yep this is my great great grandparents and their children-my great grandfather was not born yet. My problem is-can't find their graves-they were buired in Botetourt we assume since they died there-Marion George Parr (George Marion Parr) and Eliza Hill were married in Nelson County in 1844-they had to have parents-but no one knows. Also My great grandfather George W. Parr died in Botetourt about 1907-1910 can't find him either!!!
My gggrandfather died before 1880 and Eliza died in 1891-the person that "gave the information" was Hugh Hill???? so I wonder if he came from Nelson?? Drives me nuts-I figure since there has been a Parr Funeral Home in Nelson since forever someone would answer about a PARR family. Thanks for answering-I am just so frustrated-but still searching!
Thanks again! Joy
