I am searching for information on Martin Wheeler.
From stories passed down in the family, Martin served in the civil War for Nelson Co.

He was married to Becky (Coffee or Crawford) they had at least 2 children named a gril Victoria Wheeler and a son that I know of.

Martin (Could also be William on the 1860 Census) owned a plantation of sorts and had slaves. I have stories of them.
No names, merely stories.

After the war the plantation was sold (A large portion sold to slaves) and Martin moved his family to Lodesville?? (Where is Lodesville?? Near Amherst?)

Any information is appreciated,

Troy Floyd
