As a sign of way too much time on my hands I am in the process of transcribing the Christ Church Parrish into a searchable data base. I am not going by the index, but page by page.
I am listing page, childerens name, birth and christening dates, parents, Spouse, date of marriage, Location, death dates, burial information, owners listed for slaves, Employer, and occupation, race, illigitimacy, Title (Capt, Dr, Rev, ext) and maiden names. Basically, if it is in this book, it is going in my data base. I am doing this in Microsoft Access so that any thing can be used as a search.
I would like to know what would be easier for any other researches to search or send me searches.
I have been working on this transcription since mobey dick was a guppy it seems like, and I would love to have any suggestios.
