For years I have searched for the parents of my gggg-grandparents, John JEFFERSON (born ca. 1769, died 1831) and his wife, Elizabeth ZIMMERMAN (1775-1850). They lived in Alexandria, Va., before moving to Ohio County, Va. (now Marshall Co., W.Va.). He was a wagon-maker; her father may have been a Rev. War soldier and a blacksmith. They were married ca. 1792 or 1793, but we have no record of where. They were said by one son to be from Va., but others said one or both may have been from Baltimore. Any information you might have about their birthplaces, marriage, and especially their parents would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.
