Searching for parents of John (maybe John William) Cole b. 1736 possibly in VA. Trying to determine if his father may have been John Cole brother of James & Mark Cole who came with Rentfroes to western VA 1731 to 1733. These brothers were sons of Stephen/Elizabeth Cole originally from Wales then Chester Co., PA. Elizabeth Cole died in PA, but her sons migrated down the Shenandoah Valley and are thought to have lived in Orange and Frederick Counties. James and Mark lines have been thoroughly researched, but John remains elusive.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
