Pullium - Any input welcome

I am researching my mothers side of the family that was started in Cherokee County, North Carolina. I would appreciate any information on the Pulliums. Banister Pullium was the founder. He was born in 1813 in Person County, N.C. The Pullium name was started when he did not close the a in Pulliam. His parents are Drury and Susannah WIlliams Pulliam. Any information going forward or backward is greatly appreciated.
