HAWTHORN(E) FAMILY in VA in 1700's. My issue: MARY ELIZABETH (HAWTHORN) ADAMS b. ca. 1760-70 d. ca. after 1871. Lived in VA and PA. Her family, spelled HATHORN, were suppose to be from VA. She was a teacher in a Girl's Seminary School in VA prior to her marriage. Have documentation that she taught in PA schools as well. After her marriage to WM. ADAMS about 1788 they lived in PA and had sev. children. Is there anyone else that has info. on HAWTHORN(E) FAMILY in VA?
