Seeking information regarding Calvin J. (Jack) ALTICE of Redwood, Virginia. Died of wounds in France October 20, 1918 while serving with the AEF (167th Regiment of 42nd ("Rainbow") Division. Buried in Glade Hill, Virginia. Would like to know circumstances of his wounding (where, when, how) and death + photograph. Presumably he was a casualty during the Meuse-Argonne offensive of Sept-Nov 1918. His military records were lost in a fire at the military archives in St. Louis in 1975.
