I am looking for information relating to the life and death of CHARLES R. CURTIS, brother of Willim A. and George E. Curtis, born in England in, 1847, son of Thomas Vincent and Sophia Curtis. who was living in number 32 Stroudsburg, Monroe, Pennsylvania in 1850, enlisted at age 18 at Hacketstown, New Jersey, on September 1, 1864 also enlisted in Company “H”, New York 65th Infantry. Charles survived the war and was finally mustered out as a Private at Hall’s Hill, Virginia on July 17, 1865; but was absent at his mustering out as he was sick.

I have no record after that date. I need to know when he died, where and was buried. Any information on him after 1865 is really needed.
Any assistance relating to birth, life, family death and burial will be appreciated. jamesmgray@bigpond.com
