Thank you for the information on Elizabeth Jane Hensley. My family line is Solomon G. Hensley and Catherine Kinsey and their son John William who married Marinda Showalter in Montgomery County. I knew there were 2 daughters listed in the 1840 census, but did not know their names. I could not find Solomon in the 1850 census nor after 1870. I would like to know the name of the second daughter born sometime in the 1840's. Could it possibly be Sarah who married George Foster? I would also like to know the parents of Solomon and what happened to him after 1870. Also, do you have any information on the 2 of daughters listed in the 1860 and 1870 census--Susan and Julia A. I believe this Susan married James Showalter, brother of Marinda, in Dec 1864, but I could not find a record at the Roanoke library. I was able to find Lucy Catherine (1855 )who married Rev. Davis G. Lancaster of Floyd County in the 1900 census.

Thank you for any information on this family.
