Dolly Salley is enumerated in the June 15th & 16th, 1880 Princeton Township, Dallas County, Arkansas
Census, Dwelling 126-139, page 15, Supv. Dist #1, Enumeration District 66. She is enumerated with her son,
Sam Salley. She is listed as 80 years old having been born in Virginia.
There are 2 other Salley families living next door at Dwelling # 125-138 (John Salley) and Dwelling # 127-140
(Sandy A. Salley).
At Dwelling 128-141 is enumerated a William Daley, mulatto, age 25 and Lucy, his wife age 22. A daughter,
Mela, age 1 is also listed.

Holmes. The mortgage was paid in full on February 25, 1870. On the side of the mortgage was written "
this mortgage is satisfied in full February the 25th 1870, M.A. Holmes by G. W. Mallett. Received this
mortgage _____ as her receipt on note given to a. Watts by Sam Salley & M.A. Holmes January 29, 1870.

of John Salley, was born in Arkansas. Her Father was born in Tennessee and her mother was listed as born

SONGNEFIELD(Sinquifield), black female, age 15 and listed as a sister-in-law of John Salley.

Source: Millie Ann House telephone conversation on 6/12/2000. Information obtained from Aunt Pat (Millie
Ann House), George Washington House left Arkansas at an early age and never returned. Per Millie Ann House,
George left Arkansas in 1918. Aunt Pat received letters from him indicating that he had gone to Rockford,
Illinois but lost track with him. Efforts are still pending to locate his descendants in Illinois.

Source: According to Millie Ann House in a telephone conversation with her on 6/12/2000, she stated that Mack
Henry was born before her and that he had moved to Altoona, Pennsylvania where he died. She did not know the
names of any of his descendants or if he had any children.

Millie Ann was nicknamed "Aunt Pat". She was the last living member of her family. Her favorite bible scripture
was the 91st Psalms which she could recite by heart. She was at Twin Rivers Nursing Home in Arkadelphia when
she passed on 6-8-2002 at 8:45 a.m.
