Miss Belle Martin, of Augusta county, Va., committed suicide Friday night by shooting herself. A letter was found on her person, from which it was learned that unrequited love was the cause of her act.
Mrs. Mary Breck, an old lady, who was buried at Rappahannock station, Va., last Saturday, weighed over 800 pounds. Her coffin was 3 feet wide by 2 1/2 deep, and it required twelve pallbearers to carry the remains to the grave.
