I am looking for the parents of my great great grandmother MARY (A or C) ARTHUR. According to census records she was born abt 1823 or 1824 in VA. She married ELZAPHAN RUCKER on February 29, 1844 in Kanawha, VA (now WV). He was born June 8, 1818 in Mason, Lawrence County, OH and was the son of Robert Rucker and Elizabeth Vermillion.

Note their last child Sussana was born in Iowa in 1866.
I descend through Elzaphan and Mary Rucker's daughter Sarah Margaret Rucker who married Charles N. Pigg; their daughter Sarah (Sadie) Pigg and Allen August Posey; their daughter Rutha Jane Pigg and Russell Emmett Budke (my parents).
