My son (Thaddeus Anthony STEVENS Chesson)b. Sept. 3, 1964 is probably the last of the descendents so named after Thaddeus STEVENS. He has one sister Renee. His father was Thaddeus Morrill STEVENS b. Apr. 1938 in Manilla P. I. His siblings are Sylvia & Phillip. His father was also named Thaddeus M. STEVENS b. 12/7/1914 (in the Philippines. His siblings were Richard, Louise, Carmen, Elizabeth as far as I can remember. He married Virginia Ortiz (a German that was adopted by a Filippino family). His father(also Thaddeus STEVENS) came to the Philippines during the Spanish American War & married the daughter of a Spanish Viceroy who had married a native woman. The story in our family goes that he died of malnutrition at Santo Tomas prison camp during the Japanese occupation as he gave his rations to the children. His father was the Thaddeus STEVENS who was the doctor in Indiana. I too am trying to find information so I can complete my childrens family trees. Any info. will be greatly apprecied
