Hi,
       Lucy Petty, b.-abt 1750 in Halifax Co., Va, married James Cole and had the following children: Robert Cole, Wilson Cole, Thomas Cole (whose first wife was Mary Epps (the sister of William Epps who married his sister Lucy Petty Cole) , Elizabeth Smith Cole, Rachel Cole, Lucy Petty Cole, and Patience Cole.
       I have seen on the Internet that the father of Lucy was Joseph Petty but I do not have the source of that information. I would appreciate hearing from anyone regarding the Pettys in Halifax Co in 1725-1800. I am searching for the names of Lucy Petty's parents and siblings.
