Was Harry Leslie actually Frank Leslie the gunfighter?

I have been searching for many months for the father of Bertha (Beppie) Lee (Leslie) Culin of the famous Roskruge-Wood-Marshall families of Arizona.

Related families include Culin and Guthrie of Arizona and California. And Leslie of Virginia, Hawaii, Arizona and perhaps KY or TN.

Recently a Pima County AAZ resident sent me proof that the unknown Mr. Leslie was Harry Melville Leslie, or Melvillo Leslie, supposedly born in Louisville KY, supposedly to Lucy and Harry Leslie of Louisville KY.

Supposedly Harry Leslie died in Tucson AZ in Jun 1878.

Supposedly.

But I have 14 reasons why I think that Harry Melville Leslie was an alias of the notorious gunfighter and convicted murderer, Nashville Franklin "Buckskin" Leslie, who shot at least one person dead at the famous gunfight at the OK Corral!!!!

In other words, Beppie's father may very well have been Frank Leslie, who pretended to be his own fictitious brother using the fictitious name Harry Melville Leslie.

Frank Leslie was born in VA in 1842 and he had no siblings.

Sallie Knox (Wood) Leslie then Guthrie filed an affadavit naming Harry Melville Leslie as Beppie's father, giving Harry's birthplace as KY, his parents as Lucy and Harry Leslie, his birth day around 1842.

There was a marriage record in Hawaii of Sallie Wood marrying Melvillo Leslie in 1876.

Now I am looking for any birth record around 1842 for Harry Melville Leslie in any state.

Why?

If there is no birth record - no one has found such yet in any state - then that is fairly final and conclusive proof that Frank was Harry, along with the other circumstantial evidence that I have.

I am also looking for any record of the supposed Harry's parents, Lucy and Harry Leslie, in any state around 1842, give or take 25 years.

No such persons lived in KY between 1800 and 1900, at least they are not listed in any of the many and extensive KY genealogical records in print and on the Internet that I have searched.

Frank was from VA and his parents had different names.

I suspect that Sallie's affadavit is partly bogus and that she provided inaccurate info to hide her possible shame at having been married to Frank, and having not ever divorced him prior to marrying James Guthrie. Since she may have married Frank as Melvillo Leslie, it could be argued that they then were not really married, but then that would reflect unfavorably upon Beppie's origins to some.

If my suspicion is true, if Frank was Harry, then that would explain many strange things about Beppie's previously unknown origins and her apparently estranged relationship with her mother Sallie Knox (Wood) Leslie Guthrie.
