“Albemarle Co, VA, Marriage Bonds” shows that Henry Boatright and Roxana Moon were married 14 Nov 1833, confirming Woods’ “History of Albemarle County.” However, I have been unable to find any further trace of them.
The 1850 Census for Harrison Co, VA (now WVa) shows Henry H. Boatright (age 51) married to a woman whose name might be either Roda or Roxy. The 1880 Census for Lewis Co WVa shows a widowed Roda Boatright. I would appreciate having any information about Roxana and Henry, or failing that, anything that would identify the WVa Boatrights as a different couple.
