Searching for the Dabney relatives of Lelia Addie Dabney born 1842 in Mississippi and married Willliam Andrew Highsmith. She moved and died in Bastrop, Tx in 1918. However just found new information that Her parents were James and Alibeth Dabney and Lelia Was born in Noxubee Co, MS. We suspect that she is part of the extended famiy of the Viginia Dabneys. Also Thomas Gregory Dabney daughter was named Lelia and was born in 1862 in Burleigh, MS. James Daney's children were Lelia, ThomasW, Sophia(another Family Name), Emmerline, Benjamin, Ida, Thomas S and Rosalie.
