I was searching on Genforum site for Elliott surname and thought I would email you to know if these names are familiar. I can't find anything on the Mormon church familysearch.org to find grandmother annie weaver (born 1-8-85 )in Luray, Va or grandfather george harmon elliott who she married in Virginia. I know my grandparents ended up in Roanoke Va where my Mom and her siblings grew up.
All I have is an ancestor chart a friend started for me yrs. ago
listing my grandfather george harmon elliott's parents as john stephenson elliott and roberta v. arnold and my grandmother's parents as Lewis McHenry Weaver and Ella Modesitt (or Modisette)
Are these names familiar and/or do you have any advice on how to proceed?
