My name is Sharon NANNEY Wells. I was wondering if there is ANYONE outthere can help me!!!!! My great great great grandfather was named DOUGLAS D NANNY. He was born around 1823 in Brunswick county, VA .... He died July 17 1862. He fought in the civil war in THE SEVEN DAYS BATTLE. He was in company I,12 Infantry Regiment...The side he served on was Confederacy..... He was married to a NANCY MOSELEY she was born around 1820 in Brunswick county Va. Children born to this union was :
Virigina "Jimmie" NANNIE born around 1848 died JULY 28 1929..... Mary born around 1846 died in 1862 while Douglas was in the war , She died from a Black Widow spider bite....... Sally born Oct 20 1849 and died March 28 1929 Sally was married to a ROBERT B. KING ....
Douglas died at Malvern Hills Battlefield. The basement of Manchester Baptist Church was used for a hospital at that time ... There is where he died from his wounds on July 17 1862... If ANYONE can help with these names please feel free to contact me at wolfmama2003@yahoo.com
