James A. Strange (born about 1812) married Olivia Ann Johnson (born bet. 1810-1820) in Mecklenburg Co., VA in 1838. Olivia was daughter of William Johnson (born about 1788) and Lucy (born about 1786).
James A. Strange remarried Sarah Jane Moore of Mecklenburg County in 1848 and they moved to Franklin Co., NC.
The 1850 census shows the children of James and Olivia living with William and Lucy Johnson. William and Lucy are not found in the 1860 census and the daughters have moved to Franklin Co., NC.
I am looking for information on the parents of James A. Strange and any information on William and Lucy Johnson.
