I'm just beginning the search of my ancestors before 1800. I only know that the following families have records in Lunenberg, Mecklenberg or Amelia Counties in Virginia. The records are dated from 1752 to 1792. I'm primarily interested in the families of
Bole/Boles/Bowles
Crowder
Evans
Peachy
Ragsdale
Slaughter
Smith
Vaughn
Wood.
The allied family surnames surrounding them in those three counties were:
Appling
Baptist
Bowling
Cary
Christopher
Coleman
Constable
Craley
Crawley
Elliott
Goode
Graves
Gregory
Hall
Hamlin
Harris
Hayes
Hood
Hudson
Hunt
Johnson
Jordan
Lester
Moore
Neal
Newsom
Overton
Quinichett
Robertson
Sammond
Slaughter
Stembridge
Tucker
Wade
Weeks
Wells
Wills
If you have any information on how any of these families intermarried or where they went, I would appreciate it.
