Seeking the Helen King listed in this obit below. Her mother's maiden name was Cora V. Bolton born in Hawtree area near Warrenton,NC. Cora married (1)Albert Collins(2)John Gray Rainey-father of Helen(3)Lewis Tackett-marriage ended in divorce.John Gray Rainey and Cora married 3-21-1906, but John died before May 1907.Helen probably was born after he died. Vernard Allen Rainey,half-brother was the last half Rainey sibling to die and that was 1974 Henderson,NC. He had lived in late 1920's in same area in Warren County as Cora and Helen. Just before he died his daughter took him to a funeral for what he thought was for his sister in Warrenton,NC, but he told her that it wasn't his sister. He had not seen his sister for many years. I have been researching the family history for several years and finally came upon the obit of Helen's half brother by her mother's first marriage to Albert Collins. Have contacted the Tackett family, but nothing so far from them on Helen. There are two possible Helen Kings on SSDI that fit birth year:Helen L. King(3Dec 1907-17Mar1989 Jackson,TN) and Helen B. King (7 Sep 1906-Mar 1992 Knoxville,TN.)
Obit of Helen's half brother Andrew:
Andrew Barnes Collins died Sunday 1/5/1975, funeral Monday 1/6/1975 at Blaylock Funeral Homes, Warrenton, interment at the Warren Plains Methodist Church cemetery. Survivors:
Mrs. Elizabeth Prince, daughter [Selma, NC]
Mrs. Peggy Wilkens, daughter [Garner, NC]
Billy Collins, son [Warrenton, NC]
Mrs. Helen King, half-sister [Chattanooga, TN]
Mrs. Charlie King, half-sister [South Hill, VA]
Harmon Tackett, half-brother [Colonial Heights, VA]

per his obituary in The Warren Record 1/9/1975
