P S This Marable family was still in James City County in 1704, as Edward's grandfather was a Burgess there as late as 1736, and he later moved into Lunenburg County, or possibly Brunswick before Lunenburg was created, but he died in Lunenburg about 1760. His son, John, father of Edward was born in James City County, and died in Lunenburg. If Edward lived in Mecklenburg, he must have moved there himself, before he moved on to Granville County, North Carolina, where he died.
