LONG/SIMPSON in Madison County
Posted by: Deni Date: October 05, 2000 at 07:57:39

Robert Edward LONG, born 1806, m. Lucinda (Mary) Harrison SIMPSON in 1827 in Madison County, VA. Don't know Robert Long's dod, but he is buried in Wolftown in Madison County.

The only clues I have as to Robert's parents: marriages in Madison County include two Benjamin LONGs (could be same man), marrying Nancy SPICER in 1801 and Sarah EDDINS in 1804. These are the only marriages of Longs in that time period who could be the parents, assuming they married in Madison County.

Can anyone help me out?

Deni
