Hi, folks,

I am researching this family:

Rev. Daniel CAVE (an African American Baptist minister) b. about 1861 who married
Margaret TWYMAN b. about 1857

They are married and living in Locust Dale in the 1880 census.

Known children:

Eliza b. about 1875
Susan b. about 1877
David b. June 1891
Page b. 14 March 1892 m. Howard PENN
Laurine b. 4 January 1895 m. Herbert TOWLER

In the 1870 census, there is a 16 year old Margaret Twyman (so born about 1854) in Locust Dale, Madison County, VA. She is in the following household:

Daniel Twyman, 59, M, B, farmhand
Jane Twyman, 46, F, B, keeps house
Margaret Twyman, 16, F, B
Cornelia, 12, F, B

My question:

Does anyone know if these two Margaret TWYMANs are the same person?
