Yes, there are death records available for Madison Co., VA for 1892. These records are available on microfilm at the Library of Virginia in Richmond. Per their list of available vital records:

Births:
Reel 26, 1853-1894
Reel 27, 1895-1896
Missing: 1861-64, 1868-69

Deaths:

Marriages:
Reel 30, 1853-1935


Death records for adults during this time period sometimes listed the names of the parents of the decedent, but not always.
