Hi Barbara: I, and many others, are researching a John and Delilah (or possibly Delia) Berry. We are all stuck at circa l800. This is the date we have arrived at as a probable date of birth for both John and Delilah (Delia??) based upon the dates of birth of their children. We have found John Berry and wife on the 1830-40-50 Census for Marion Co., TN. Following the l850 census we are assuming Delilah (Delia??) DIED AND jOHN AND ALL OF HIS CHILDREN MOVED to Madison, Co., MO. His married children followed at a later date. We have very much genealogical information on this Berry family from 1850 forward but can find absolutely nothing before our estimated date of 1800. Do not know parents for either John and Delilah, siblings, where they lived, etc., etc. We do not even have a maiden name for Delilah. Census records states she was born in Alabama. Their first child was born in Alabama and was named John (but called Jack).

Do you have a date for the John Berry who appears in your query?

Thanks!

Dovie
