I am researching the Cralle/Crawleys of VA. I found this reference to the marriage of Alfred Cralle and Patsey Ingram.

"THE OLD FREE STATE Lunenburg County, Virginia Chapter IX (cont'd ) Page 394

Lunenberg County Va., Marriages, GENEALOGICAL DATA Page 427

1800--Nov. 20, Alfred Cralle and Patsey Ingram."

Subsequently I found these wedding notices for Hannah and Permelia Cralle/Crawley; Alfred Crawley signed the applications:

"William Hamilton and Hannah Crawley #27 and #333 married 9-31-1821. To the magistrate is reads: "Dear Sir: Please grant William Hamilton license to marry my daughter Hannah and this order shall stand good. signed Alfred T Crawley Witness Thomas Judd also listed as bondsman Thomas Rudd.

Gallatin County, Kentucky Marriages:
William Robertson to Permelia Crawley, 15 May 1834; married by Rev. Benjamin Tiller; Bond 12 May 1834; Signatures - Wm. Robertson and Alfred Crawley; Consent to marriage 15 May 1834 signed by Alfred F/T? Crawley for daughter Permelia to marry William Robertson."

I Believe that Alfred Cralle from VA is Alfred Crawley in Kentucky. Hannah and Permelia would be the daughters of Patsey Ingram. Can anyone help me out.
