His nephew Alexander received 400a lying on Mitchell's Creek in Lunenburg Co., VA which was a 1764 patent granted to him ( Thomas Erskine ). He also leaves money for the education of two sons of John McCutcheon. Is this a possible sister of his ?
Thomas Erskine also leaves to his " brother-in-law Richard JONES, Jr." one Negro girl, one feather bed and furniture also one hundred ten pounds lawful money " it being the consideration that I sold his two Negro girls for and to his heirs".
