Where these folks related to the people who had the old Coleman Hotel in Minearl VA. I don't know anything about them, but could there have been a cemetery there. Right now the Hotel would have been located right behind that tiny new little stip mall with the babecue place. I used to go there and talk with Ms. Coleman she still ran the Hotel, even though it was ready to cave in. It was beautiful on the inside, but super scary, I was only a child. My father had a store along the main drag in Mineral, and I'd get bored at the store and go visit Ms. Coleman, all I remember about her was that she had a very short bob hair cut, and her glasses would set on the end of her nose. I do remember she had an olvie complextion, salt and pepper hair. But the Hotel was also her home, I don't think she ever left there, I know my mother would take her stuff, but it was a working Hotel, and the drink man for coca-cola took drinks down to her and put them in this big giant red box, the kind with the little nob on the side to pop the drink tops off with. oh, she liked to play solitare, she taught me, and I would watch her, it was neat, she'd flip the cards with her really long finger nails. I'm making her sound scary but she was as nice as she could be. A few of the town people lived there. mr. locket, mr. thomas, a man name opie, and two brothers, I think there last names were harlowe, but can't really remember. The Hotel was complete wood on the inside, wood on the walls, floors , and big wide steps going up the stairs. bannister in the large office and a small swinging gate that only Ms. Coleman could go through. she had two big giant desk and one sat behind the bannister and the other was postioned right infront of a window facing the main street of Mineal's main stree. anyhow, there could be a family plot there, just a suggestion, since like I was saying it was her home. I don't know anymore than this. sandi gibson fino
