Gary, I am the great granddaughter of EDWARD JAMES RICHMOND b. 10 Dec. 1857 in Iowa, d. 8 Aug. 1906 in Kansas City...MO, I'm guessing. The family story is that he was killed during a bank robbery while doing some business concerning a patent for a baler. He was an inventor. I'm wondering if you have more details on how he died.

He was the son of NATHANIEL RICHMOND b. 5 Jul 1824 in Switzerland Co., IN and SARAH ANN LEWIS b. 1832 in KY. Sarah Ann was the daughter of MARGARET BRISTOW and ISAAC LEWIS.

Thanks for all the information you've posted on the Bristow family, Gary! I've added another branch to the family tree. Other than the dates of birth and death, etc., I like to add as much personal information as possible when doing my genealogy research on my family.

Margie Carter
